| Breaking News |  | Wednesday, November 16th, 2011: Brewers, Nationals Trade Players Done deal! The Milwaukee Brewers have agreed to send 27-year old third baseman Ryan Braun to the Washington Nationals for 24-year old starting pitcher Noburu Katsu, 24-year old starting pitcher Shairon Martis and 24-year old minor league right fielder Scotty Livingston. The trade, rumored for days, was completed in the wee hours this morning.
His numbers show Braun is carrying a .278 lifetime batting average with 115 home runs and 435 RBIs.
Since joining the league, Katsu has compiled an ERA of 4.46 with a career record of 18-28. He has 311 strikeouts in 410 innings and has held opponents to a .273 batting average. |  | Wednesday, November 16th, 2011: Milwaukee, Arizona Agree to Trade The Milwaukee Brewers have finalized a deal with the Arizona Diamondbacks for the services of 22-year old minor league left fielder Dustin Terry, 26-year old catcher Jed Gardner and 26-year old starting pitcher Troy Patton. In exchange, the Diamondbacks will receive 25-year old catcher Mal Fitzgerald and 27-year old first baseman Prince Fielder.
In his career Fielder is hitting .290 with a total of 210 home runs.
In his career Patton has fashioned a 25-20 mark, 4.09 ERA and thrown 411 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .259 lifetime against him and he has logged 269 career strikeouts. |  | Wednesday, November 16th, 2011: Milwaukee Trades Rup for Detroit's Christian The Milwaukee Brewers swapped 22-year old minor league left fielder Carlos Rup for 23-year old minor league third baseman Don Christian of the Tigers after what Detroit officials would only characterize as "difficult" negotiations.
